DISLIKES: (PPP) Professional Pool Players

What I don't like about the pros is many of them seem to stroke the cue in the air several times before they get down on the shot. Are they unfamiliar with the way the stroke should go? There is no cue ball up there. "Hey everybody, watch this shot...........and don't try this at home."

Got to admit this one gets me too.

I like the way The Black Widow's USED TO fall over her shoulders when she plays. It looks like black silk spun from those special worms in Argentina.
^^^Fixed that for you^^^
If you saw Mosconi warm up matches you would get it ha.

What are some things you really DISLIKE about some of the current and past professional pool players?

Dechaine: Chalking and head
Strickland: Talking, excuses, and anger
Varner: Gum chewing
Sigel: Talking and anger
Archer: Lint picking
Kiamco: Never smiles
Morra: 10 warm up strokes
etc...

:eek::confused::boring2:

Dechaine: Plays better than me
Strickland: Plays better than me
Varner: Still plays better than me
Sigel: Plays better than me
Archer: Plays better than me
Kiamco: Plays better than me
Morra: Plays better than me
etc...

One thing that really annoys me is any player who gets up and down on a shot repeatedly, even routine shots. Charlie Williams and Justin Bergman (although he has gotten better) come to mind. Then there are the rack inspectors, some of which have never met a rack they liked...

Well fellas I think Mika should change his tampon more often, past that I'm good.

What???? I read that like 4 times and I still dont understand what you are trying to say. What is your native tongue???? ;)

You don't know about the "special worms in Argentina?"

What the heck is wrong with you? Everyone knows about the special worms!

Hang around AZB and you'll find out all about "the special worms."

LOL

Some of my favorite players...

Dechaine: Has great road-stories and has always treated me with respect.

Strickland: Another one that has great stories and is one of the most fearless players to ever play pool. Puts on a great show, draws the biggest crowds and deserves way more respect than he gets.

Varner: Yet another one with great stories and really thinks about what people say to him. Then he'll sum everything up in 3-4 words, smile and go back to running tables.

Sigel: Truly one of the best players and gamblers to ever pick up a cue. Another fearless competitor and another with more battle-scars and road-stories than anyone could count.

Archer: I've been following Johnny's career since he was 16 years old and struggling to win his first big tournament. I was the guy who said, "As soon as this kid gets over 2nd and 3rd place he's going to be unstoppable."... and that's exactly what happened. Johnny has also done very well for himself and his family, with his business in Georgia and should be seen as a role-model for other players... especially the young ones.

Kiamco: Yes - he's all business at the table and never takes anything for granted. Often it looks like players aren't having any fun and this is because the concentration-level to play at Warren's level is higher than people think. If he's running out - trust me... he's having fun, but great players save the smiles for when the last ball goes in the pocket.

Morra: John Morra's stroke is incredibly graceful and has a pause at the end - very similar to Buddy Hall's. HE excels under pressure, he dresses well + he has the prettiest woman on tour.

=======

We're not all the same and it would suck if we were.
