Do any cues hit and feel similar to Diveney cues?

I hope this is an okay question to ask, but I am curious if (in your opinion ) any other cue makers build a cue that feels and hits similar to Pat Diveney (other then the cues that his son makes)?

I assume that the feel and hit of Diveney cues is very unique to his own cues only, but just curious if you can recommend any other cue makers that you think makes a similar hitting cue.

When I think of Diveney cues, I think very well balanced, and a very sweet hit (that I can't describe). They are amazing players in my opinion, but to be honest, I have only ever played with 1, but I loved the way it felt and the way it hit.

Thanks for any recommendations on other cues that you think have a similar feel and hit.

I have a few diveneys and I can agree that I find them a natural extension of my mind's eye...they just act right.

That's all you need to know. Buy a diveney!

Agreed with that Black Balled guy. Buy one of Pat's cues, they aren't crazy expensive or hard to find.

so far this has been a very nice thread and reaction

the idea that i am getting is that even though the Diveney cues are not expensive now,
the customers are happy with their cues and cue maker.

this should help everyone

Me too !

I have 2 Diviney playing cues and a jump/break. All are 61" long with no weight bolts and I love the way they play. I was in his shop last October and met him and his son Dan. They are good honest people doing good work at a fair price.

Just call or e-mail him and place an order.

I will have one of his Sneaky's someday along with a Frey and a Scruggs. I say just buy a used Diveney Sneaky at a good price and play it. If you do not like the hit flip it and get your cabbage back or perhaps make a few bucks if you bought it right:groucho:

Best rolls,
-Kat,

I wonder if he offer rentals, I want to try them out and experience this feel you guys talks about.

I send him an email to get a quote on a cue made last week, but communication has been quite slow unfortunately.

Probably busy getting ready for Super Billiards Expo.

I am dying to get my hands on the Pat Diveney posted by Johnny Flash recently. Gorgeous blue and purple veneers!
