I think it's a damn shame that a handful of people who have nothing better to do than piss and moan about everything are the ones who determine what stays and goes around here. Don't like looking at the stickies? Take the 0.4 seconds and scroll past them you lazy asses.
The directory created by Matt (Spimp13) took a lot of hard work on his part, and it's really too bad that it is no longer readily available on page one.
Thank God we kept the USPPA post a sticky though ... that has a lot of great information that will come in handy to a multitiude of users for months and years to come. (That entire last paragraph was about as much sarcasm as I can cram into two sentences).

Well, speaking for the "pissers and moaners", it seem to me that if a thread is that important, and getting that much activity, it will remain on the front pages. It also would be pretty simple to have a sub forum of threads that are deemed to be timeless enough to be relocated where they can be easily found.

It's a shame such a trivial issue like how many stickies we have would drive anyone away. Whether or not it annoys you.
But to each his own. The experience is what you make of it, I suppose.
You could probably combine the forum rules, code of conduct, and new forum rules regarding posting links all into one sticky. I figured the directory was a good way to contact cuemakers/dealers/repairmen who are members of this site. These people I feel help generate business or interest on here so that was my reasoning for wanting to help them a bit possibly get some orders etc. My list does not include anyone who is not a member on here. Most people gave good feeback on it, but you can't please everyone I guess. Now you will just have to do a search to find it, hopefully non members or newbies can figure that out.
