Do You Have an All-Time Favorite Type of Pool Shot?

I just remembered one I enjoy while playing One Pocket.
Your opponent makes a ball and scratches and has to spot it, plus a penalty ball.
With cue ball in hand behind the head string I place whitey midway between the head spot and the next diamond, either right or left, depending on which pocket is mine, and take dead aim at the center of the second ball on the foot spot (not the first).
With a slight draw stroke I make the shot. The second ball goes to the foot rail, comes down to the head rail at an angle, then goes back down table and into my pocket.
At that point the nose ball can do whatever it wants because I'm already out like a cheap date.

I always liked the shot in a game like 9 ball where the next object ball is close to the end rail and and another ball is close to a corner pocket....and you hit the object ball a bit full with some top spin and hopefully the cue ball caroms off the object ball and makes the ball by the pocket

1-9 combo.

Who doesn't like it when you've broke and you're left with the 1-9.

Not sure what it says about me though. Maybe that I enjoy the easy life, without complication.

My favorite pool shot is the "Cowboy Jimmy Moore Draw Shot" I am not consistent in making it but it is my favorite shot.

When the balls lay just right...
Jumping the object ball OVER an impeding ball and into the hole.

Used it a lot in pill pool and 2,5,10,15 back in the day when you have a shot on your way but no pocket.

Comes up very rarely in 9ball, 10ball, and 1pocket.

The layout basically has to be presented to you on a silver platter for you to have that option.

1. Dropping 3 or more OBs in one shot.
2. Masse shots (eye beauty)
3. That shot when the OB jumps out of a pocket and falls into another one :D

My FAVORITE shots are the ones I make. I don't like the ones I miss very much.

My favorite shots to watch are mostly gone now. I like to watch the "power stroke" shots like Earl and the gang from his era used on the tables long ago with slower cloth. You seldom see them today.

Nothing special, but my favorite shots are where you are just hidden from a ball that's close on a rail and relatively close pocket. Tried to leave yourself along the rail for the shot but came up short and there is a ball just blocking your shot. Because of the angle, I go rail first with a lot of running English.

I don't know why I've always liked it, I guess because it embodies the "finesss" style that I love and so few people play.
