I just got my cue back from Scot recently. My cue looks and feels brand new. His prices are unbeatable. And, he is fast. I shipped mine during the holidays. I received my cue a week sooner than expected.

Typically, I'd give you a short rant about why this doesn't belong here.

Rather, I'm just going to tell you that:
A) You should post a before and after picture.
B) You should have posted this thread, along with pictures, in the Cue & Case Gallery.

This being posted in the main forum to me is fine.. Some pictures would give your claim some merit. It's hard to take things seriously without some sort of proof. Just my opinion

I was thinking it would make more sense to move it to the Aiming Conversation forum.

Scot is a class act. He's experienced, knows what he is doing, and turns work around fast.

His website has a gallery section of his work and a worksheet showing his prices.

Attached are a few pictures of work he has done for me. The gold Palmer Model 8 and silver Palmer Model G look much better in the before pics than they looked in real life. The pictures speak for themselves.

Scot's website is at ProficientBilliards.com

I have no financial interest and don't even know Scot personally. I'm just a satisfied customer.

I have a Schon R12 with Scott as we speak. Can't wait to get it back.
Her refinished a Josswest for me a few years ago too. It looked awesome too.
+1 from this guy.

Im a fan too.

I wouldn't send my Gus cues to him, but he has done more than 10 cues for me. Probably closer to 20.

Yall are crazy. With all of these negative threads going on, I try and post about my positive experience.

I have payed a lot more to other people than I did with Scot, with sub par quality. Before I went to Scot, I went on here and searched for a refinish service. I came across a few people who recommended him, and I gave him a try.

1. I will try to get pictures up ASAP. To satisfy the forum moderator who responded first. With that said, David M, can you move this thread to the right section.

2. Yes, for the professional service I have received, I think , in my opinion, that you can't beat his prices.

FYI, the cue I sent him is valued at 2K +. Pics coming soon.

Thanks for the pics Type79.

It's amazing what some people can do with a used up cue.

Sometimes it comes back better than new.

When I send cues away to be refinished, I can't wait to get

them back to see what they look like. When I get the package,

it's like Christmas time.
