Do you think the last guy used enough staples?

My Mechanic puts in a similar amount of staples.

His work is 100 times more professional than the OP's photos. Those pics deserve to be in the Hack Thread.

He's the one that has to deal with his work but he has a removal technique that allows him to remove 30' of staples in short order.

There is absolutely no need for so many staples in ANY rails like the rails shown. This is more like the amount of staples needed!

I would guess that using too many staples would also prematurely wear out the wood that the staples attach to, maybe its not a problem but I sure think it would be.

Sorry, no excuse for a hack job. You may not care about your home table but most do.
