That gets a cue ball clean/white again. I have several blue chalk dots that aren't coming off with either water or the slip stic cleaner (not the conditioner) that says that it cleans billiard balls. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Try Brasso and a soft cloth, used this yrs ago in one of the rooms I managed.

Use a Mr. Clean magic eraser - it'll take off anything including those blue dots. A lot of people use them for shafts also.

I've heard it really raises the grain on your shaft, so I was worried that it might also take off some or all of the finish or whatever that makes the cue ball shine and resist the chalk dots. My dumb*ss friend used clorox bleach on his onion and it now looks dull and plays funny (re:bad, different, not right)

What kind of chalk are you using?. I play at a local poolhall with balls that NEVER get cleaned, yet they look white as a fresh snowfall. They use only Master chalk, and it doesn't stain the cue ball. I've also seen some poolhalls where the balls are badly stained blue, and noticed they were using some cheap ass chalk.

I'm sure you only use the good stuff, was just a thought.
Master chalk. Keep blue on me always and I break out the measles ball. Now i have 2 deal with red AND blue dots.
:p

I haven't tried it yet, but how about SlipStik? I think the cleaner or conditioner, whatever it's called, says that it can be used on balls.
