Does anyone know the dirt about DCC streamers?

I get that once you put that 10' table in place you don't want to move it but frankly, who can identify with playing on a 10' table?! Especially when there are plenty of great banks and 1pocket matches available. I know the Big Foot is Greg's pet thing but I think most would rather see some banks and 1pocket.

I think this year you have to cut XPool a little slack, since it is their first year, and HELL YEAH they had big shoes to fill. I am stuck at home this year so I bought all the PPV streams and have been relying on them, so I am in that camp of being able to pretty well evaluate the user experience from my pov.

No, I really don’t have to cut them any slack. If they don’t have the resources or knowledge to do it right then they really shouldn’t throw their hat in the ring and bid to do it.

I can’t speak for anyone but myself, but as pool seemingly grows larger, the amount of quality broadcasting to watch is growing less. Accu Stats is the best in the biz, and with MR buying the rights to the US Open from the greedy Behrman Sheckel grubbers and Accu Stats no longer did that event and MR’s people suck at it. Now the DCC was given to these one angle crap view people at Xpool and not Accu Stats and another great event is lost.

I'd rather go to a bar and watch two SL2's play an APA match than listen to those clownish commentators. That and they suck at keeping the ball counts accurate.

I watched a match last year (maybe a couple years ago) on the feature table between Saez and Thorpe. I remember thinking just how good the camera work was. It's unfornate Accu-Stats not being in the mix.

I think we all got spoiled with the production and commentary from Accu-Stats and TAR.

One thing the new streamers have proved beyond a doubt is that good commentary is hard to come by.
