What a shame there is ivory in the cue. Otherwise I would make him an offer.
No point in having it confiscated at the border.
I hope he has plently of food because if he is waiting to sell one of his cues he is not going to make it!

One of the stories shouldn't be hard to prove. The 1992 Bud Light pool championships he said he was in the finals. If I remember correctly there weren't as many divisions as there are now, so it brings the number of possibilities way down.
He is going to have to find somebody that is a little more crazier then himself, if he is looking for a sale!
He's probably thinking that "It only takes one"....
When he says that each and every one of those cues are "the best hitting cue that I've ever played with", I believe him.. Afterall, look at the list of players that he's shot against with each and every one of those cues.
I might just offer him $100 for the whole collection.
Honestly, whether he's telling the truth or not, when you write stories in your listings, and carry on with name-dropping (maybe to impress someone??), it just looks bad. Either way, I wish him luck in his sales. There must be someone out there with more money than he knows what to do with, just dying to drop a fat wad on a piece of wood.

They are all listed as OBO as well, he might have them all jacked so high so when you filter by highest price first his cues all come to the top.
I always use the highest price filter when searching cues so I can see all the good stuff.

To purchase something near the price of a home, I'd fly/drive there first, if I didn't I would consider myself......duh......It's pretty coincidental that the mosconi cue sold for a high dollar amt a few weeks back, then along comes this person.
