Does Diamond publish any training or instructions for it's point leveling system?

Hi all,

I had a new 7' Pro Am installed last July, with the expectation that my installer would return to re-level the slates after a couple months of 'settling'.

The table has been rolling strange for a long time now, but I have been unsuccessful in getting the mechanic/installer back to level it. Diamond does not respond to my emails for help.

I have an 8" Starrett machinist level - does Diamond publish any instructions, or is anyone aware of instructions so that I could re-level the slate using the point system (not just leg levelers) ?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide me,

b

Call me, I can walk you through the process. 702-927-5689

I was wondering the same thing. Got a paragon and my installer was obviously clueless. There is nothing online concerning installation and the fact that Diamond won't even respond to emails trying help address their laziness is a joke

Sounds like its time to make a video$ The starretts will cost more than the video.

Along the same thought—
Most manufacturers of kitchen appliances, shop tools, and other items, very often offer a User Manual online as a PDF. It’s great adverting if the manual is written correctly. And a customer can check out the item before purchase, as well as study the manual while the item is in transent.

DIAMOND is missing out on great free advertisement and public relations.

A DIAMOND TABLE SETUP MANUAL (PDF) (that would include where to rent a slate dolly) would pay great dividends. DIAMOND does not have a lot of distributors and their customers seem to be left out after the table is installed. DIAMOND and BRUNSWICK do’t seem to be using the internet to their advantage.

Well, I have seen this before; a great product but not a lot of attention to helping their customer keep it in top-notch working order.

Funny, I don't recall any table manufacturer publishing anything about how to level ANY pool tables....so why point out Diamond or Brunswick for the lack of, most installers don't care enough to learn how to correctly level the slates, as well as most retail stores....quick and fast seems to be most everyone's moto.

I could be wrong here Glen, and if I am then I apologize up front.

I don't believe the OP is referring to the actual process of leveling a generic table but rather the specific process for using Diamond's own built in leveling system vs a traditional table being leveled via shimming.
