Does Pool Need a Dominant Player to get World Wide Attention Like Other Sports?

The order of events to consummate success in Pro Pool

CJ is absolute;y right, the game has gotten boring. We don't hear that pocket cracking shot anymore. When was the last time somebody won a hill-hill match with that long bank. The equipment and rules changes have not been good for the game, but we have what we have and as they say,"when in Rome"?
There are more players today but IMO, not better players. It seems to me, right here in the USA we have a dominant player in SVB, but outside our own little culture, who knows him. I have a great respect for Shane and his work ethic but he will never be the household name Fats was and Fats couldn't chalk Shanes cue. Fats couldn't run out if every door in the building was opened.
CJ, I feel you feel somewhat as I do, I remember it at it's best and get sick seeing what it has become or becoming. The solution? I haven't the foggiest clue.

There is a solution and even though everyone has said "logical things"...I personally don't believe the answer is "logical".....it's NOT about having a Pro Tour, that really was tried when pool was hot and had the largest, most influential group of players to ever live...and it still didn't come close to working....and does that mean it's impossible? .....on the contrary ;) And the same universal principle applies - "keep doing the same thing and you will keep getting the same results".....it's not the money, it's not the lack of a Pro Tour either.....I believe the answer is more like the game itself, it's the order that you do things, not the things that you do that are essentially important...and it's doing every aspect, like your pre shot routine, as fundamentally perfect as humanly possible, and it's been achieved in every sport that has succeeded....especially at the very beginning.

The Two Master Games....taught as one

ESPN. They have a lot of self-produced "sports". Now that they own part of USA Bowling
ESPN will certainly do POOL SHOWS....but I've got my sights on the GOLF CHANNEL.....my friend Hank Haney has the most popular Show on that channel and we've always talked about how well the two games go together....I'm going to see him later this week and the timing may be ideal. I'm sure everyone would like to see once and for all how much of a Bridge can be created to connect these two awesome games together....The Master Outdoor Game and the Master Indoor Game....that has a ring to it :yeah:

Earl Strickland, when in "The Zone" is one of the toughest players on this planet

The defensive half of the game requires a bit of skill as well, particularly thinking skills. There's this guy named Efren...
