Dominant Eye

I'm left handed, but I play this great game right handed. My dominant eye is my left eye. When I'm down on a shot, my stick is aligned between my eyes. A few days ago I noticed that I was trying to move my left eye over my cue subconsciously. I was wondering if it is best to have your dominant eye over the cue, or to have the cue centered between your eyes.

Thanks,
Jon

I've tried to believe that the dominant eye thing makes no difference but the fact, for me, is that I can't make a ball unless my right eye is over the stick. Right dominant eye, left handed shooter. I suppose that if I got used to having the stick in the middle I'd get used to what every shot looks like from that position and learn to make the ball based on that new perception but....

I think it really makes no difference whichever eye it is under as long as that eye isn't brown. :D:D

Indeed.. and don't forget to take note of which toe your weight is centered on, I find I'm middle-toe dominant. There is a test you can take to find out, but it hurts.
