Dominiak cues ?

I got my curly maple about a month ago and I really like it , real nice hit with the wood to wood joint , quality cue and great bang for the buck, I had Bill make my shaft 13mm up from the 12.75 and comes standard non-pro taper which I like , and also a surprisingly low deflection which made me happy as well , I recommend his cues.

I love mine. Curly maple with blk/brn irish, mahogany accents. Two shafts, $139.00 The prices have gone up a bit. But I love the responsivness from the shaft. Search the forum when you get a chance, there are 2 or 3 other threads on Dominiak cues. You can't go wrong. IMO

Let's just say you can't go and find a quality cue for that price anywhere. The play like monsters I love mine had it for about 2 months. Only complaint was the taper hated it. Took it to the local cue maker and had him make the adjustments and add a moori tip. You really can't complain about the quality.

I have an older model D1005 six point purple heart that plays very solid in my opinion a nicely madr cue and I have no complaints on customer service as well.

I bought mine new from a dealer a few years ago before he retired
the first time. $550!!! I'm feeling a little like the original Dale Perry
customers. Way too stiff hitting for me. Beautiful cue but has a flaw
in the wood. Plus, I loaned it to a guy who kept banging it on the
floor and it has some minor chipping on buttcap.Shaft and butt are straight.
Had several trade offers to trade that fell through. Had some offers to
buy when they thought Dominiak was retired.
I hate to take a bath on the cue. It justs sits there at home.
Would trade for custom cue in $500 range.
I don't want a shaft or a jump/break cue.
It would have to be awfully nice case.

They used to come with his own modified pro taper which I think was a bit thicker than most people liked (doesn't bother me). On his web site now he says that he has gone with a more traditional pro taper based on customer comments.jed1894 said:
