Donny Olhausen Announcement

Olhausen Billiard Mfg. announced today that they will make the following improvements to their carom tables within 3 months.

1. 2 inch slate (technically 50mm)
2. slates will have no pocket cutouts
3. long rails will have 10 bolts and short rails will have 5
4. looking at vendors for P37 rubber
table slates already heated

These improvements were made due to the recommendations of Pedro Pedrabuena, Mazin Shooni, Sonny Cho, George Ashby and Gilbert Najm (sorry if I missed anyone)

There will be those that will continue to only support European table manufacturers. And they are entitled. But at their own peril.

Until we have US manufacturers supporting US players and US players supporting US manufacturers, the infrastructure for sponsorship will be compromised.

Steve, thanks for the update, that is good news! Hopefully, someday even the rubber for the cushions can be supplied here. In the meantime, I can tell you from personal experience that the Artemis P37 gray rubber, is every bit as good as the Kleber rubber. I'd invite anyone to come by and play on my table for comparison.

Thanks for the info. There is a U.S. rubber manufacturer that we are working with that is testing a P37 rubber profile. I will keep you posted.
