Olhausen Billiard Mfg. announced today that they will make the following improvements to their carom tables.
1. 2 inch slate (technically 50mm)
2. slates will have no pocket cutouts
3. long rails will have 10 bolts and short rails will have 5
4. looking at vendors for P37 rubber
table slates already heated
These improvments were made due to the recommendations of Pedro Pedrabuena, Mazin Shooni, Sonny Cho, George Ashby and Gilbert Najm (sorry if I missed anyone)
There will be those that will continue to only support European table manufacturers. And they are entitled. But at their own peril.
Until we have US manufacturers supporting US players and US players supporting US manufacturers, the infrastructure for sponsorship will be compromised.
