Don't date those waitresses....

So when I was young I went in a pool room a lot and there was a pretty good player. He decided he was going to date one of the waitresses... well it didn't work out so well and needless to say he didn't come back in the pool room anymore due to her full time schedule... 10 years later I just broke that rule myself, it came close to world war 3 with this girl and now I find myself not playing pool when she works (part time thank goodness) and i just want to throw a wise word out there for the other young dudes.... DON'T date the waitresses cause if it ends bad (as in my case) it can provide some awkward moments...and in the end that can take away from your game....It should be one of the unwritten rules of the pool room... just don't go there... trust me.

I thought about that too myself once... I guess it was good that I never took that route.

Ya, it's real fun while you are dating them to be up there trying to play while she is working and there are dudes trying to get into her pants the whole time too. I realize this happens at other jobs too but at least there I don't have to watch it.

lotta merit to what you say, but, i couldn't find a reason to not play 10 toes up and 10 toes down with em

"dating" involved tooooooo much of a commitment until i was in my 20's

Just hit and quit it....who cares what she thinks.....make her jealous while your collecting the cash.....NEXT

Might be true, but I've seen some damned good looking women in some places... Besides... there are plenty of poolrooms across the country!

Exactly what I was thinking. Besides, a lot of them are in University so they won't be there forever.

Cameron, thinking with his head

I dated the waitress for about 45 minutes once, it was fantastic and occasionally I wink at her but other than that everything is back to normal! :)

This guy's brilliant ! " Money for nuthin' and your chicks for free!"

I have three rules: don't sleep with waitresses at your local bar, don't sleep with neighbors and don't sleep with coworkers. Naturally, I have broke them all, but they are good rules to try to abide to. As my grandpa would say, "don't sh*t where you eat."

i used to date a chick that worked at my favorite restaurant. things went south and it was a real ugly break up. anyway i actually started going to the restaurant more. it made her more uncomfortable than me and since she didn't want to see me i road out the awkwardness and went there 3-5 times a week.

it made me real happy to see how uncomfortable it made her. F*ck that chick for messing with my emotions!!!!!

I started dating a waitress from the only poolhall in town 5 years ago and we have been married for two years so sometimes it works out and you get free pool.

Then where do you ever meet people. J/K

Try owning a pool room and sleeping with almost every one of your waitresses, talk about dicey. I was only 24-25 at the time though, so I forgave myself. No way would I do that kind of sh*t today. I didn't realize it at the time but I was just asking for lawsuits and a lot of other troubles. Luckily they were all just as naive as I was.

You know she was screwing with your food. LOLz, probably spit in it or something.

I once met a girl in a revolving door. We've been going around together ever since.
It's pool related...the door was in the front of the poolhall where she worked.

Santa says Ho Ho Ho! and Tiger says Where? Where? Where?

Back on subject. The key is to have a friendly break up. It is not just waitress, But any women you might meet in a regular gathering place. Remember they have girl friends and can either black ball you or make you a sultana.
