Don't let CO_Kid1 steal your money like he did mine!! Please READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...
- the fraud comes in where they specifically state ' the gift is not for a service/product' and you clearly are sendning him a gift and he is sending a gift back to you.. is how you can avoid this as long as you dont use the verb buy/sell and only use gift then you will be okay on fraud

That may work between your ears, but that's about as far as you will get with the gift-for-a-gift.

Well good news! PayPal escalated my claim and it said they were able to recover the $240.00...it said reversal from Justin smith, so I guess it actually came from his account..that'll teach him!

Fraud is fraud is fraud!!!!!

I'm new to this AZ Forum thing, although I've been around cues, and pool for quite some time.

I have 0 itrader, and am an honest person. I am sure when I post some things I am trying to sell, people won't contact me about sales because of this reason. Which is totally understood...

Bottom line...FRAUD IS FRAUD IS FRAUD...If you are trying to beat paypal out of fees, you are wrong...its not a GIFT if you are paying for it!!

Its people like you and the OP, that makes it hard for me to sell things, and develop a reputation because they read this thread and get spooked...

Next time...PAY THE FEES>>>>

Thats all..thank you...

Do you even read threads at all before you post, or do you just hammer out a tourette's reply after reading only the thread title?

Seriously those were the first 6 words he posted. How the hell did you miss that?

You can pay with a CC thru Paypal in case you didn't know.

I sent a payment via PayPal for a BK2 to CO_Kid1 on March 15th and since I made the payment I haven't heard anything from him. He was just logged in and still didn't respond to my messages. I know its not a lot of time that went by, but he was replying to me within 15 min of my emails when I had questions about the cue and now nothing.

To top it off I found that kickshotkid also paid for the cue before me. He sent his payment the regular way. He ended up getting his money refunded with no explanation, but I haven't gotten any word yet...

And to make matters worse for myself I was somehow conned by CO_Kid1 into sending the payment as a gift through paypal to save the seller fees...me trying to be a nice guy helping out a fellow azer and now I get shit on...Obviously CO_Kid1 is being deceitful and for not posting that the stick was sold when kickshotkid sent payment a day before me is definitely shady...

Well if anyone knows where he lives or has any ideas on how I should go about this matter I would be most appreciative, and I made this in the wanted/fs forum so noone else sends a payment for the BK2..because it is still for sale......

Hello everyone its me again...I couldn't help myself to quote the original thread,

A."Trying to help out a fellow AZ'er out to help save him the seller fees"???

OR

B."Trying to help out myself by taking a chance so the guy for whom I don't know, never met, and has no reputation so many miles away won't add the approx $8.00 fee to my purchase."

anyone want to guess??

Paypal Clarification

Someone wrote earlier that you can instantly transfer fi=unds from your bank account into your Paypal account. This is not correct.

If you purchase an item and do not already have available funds in your Paypal, by linking your bank account to your Paypal account and "also" furnishing Paypal with a credit card reference, you can buy any item any time and Paypal will simply debit your bank account for the required funds by sending your bank a electronic debit. The crdit card is the guarantee that alloows Paypal to send the fiunds to the seller.

But POaypal doesn't release the funds to the seller right away. The funds have to be collected and so there's a 2-4 business days delay before the buyer can access the money you sent via Paypal, Conversely, ifyou simply transfer funds from your savings account to your Paypal account, then Paypal also makes you wait 2-4 days before you can even access the funds....the money is not instantaly tarnsferred or made available to you.

Paypal makes their money off the flaot that gets invested every day. Imagine having tens of millions of dollars every dayavailable to invest for several days and you get to keep all the interest....Paypal is a cash machine on that alone and then Paypal makes money from the fees it also charges sellers and senders of money. That's why so many sellers are citing the cash price plus the Paypal fees they'll get hit with.....

So there are no instant tarnsfers of funds with Paypal. The only way to get instant availability, aside from your local bank just having a generous policy on deposited checks being credited immediately to your bank balance (but even your local bank doesn't treat depoisted checks as a collected balance in your account just a booked balance) the only way to get immediate credit at your bank is to deposit either actual cash or receive a fed funds transfer from another institution. The float game is big nowadays and Paypal is positioned really well to make a fortune at it.

Yea I couldn't afford the $8, so I took a chance so I didn't have to pay it...actually I just wanted the cue and that's how he wanted me to pay so I did it...I made a mistake of trusting someone's word which won't happen again
