Don't Swallow a Cueball

Gotta love Rothstein's table.

That was one fancy table for sure. I've never seen so many inlays in my life on a pool table. What is it? The width of the rails look short to my eye.

I could only locate this one photo doing a quick google search. It is better seen in the video clip earlier in this thread. It is a beauty!

I love that show, and when I first saw season 1 about 2 yrs ago, I said the same thing to myself, why would he play with a modern cue, I think it has a logo on the shaft of either poison or thunderbolt(cuetec) shaft, and I said to myself, wow hbo could do better and bring a 4 pointer old cue or something to go with 1920 era, but still loved the show so much, everything was right on this show, and now on their season 3 as JAM said it, I think they realized that they needed an old cue for the era, and they made it just right, these HBO guys are brilliant, lovely show!

One of the best shows on the telly, JAM! Thanks for the video clip. I liked rewatching it.

Yeah, man, I'm hooked.

I was surprised at the Emmy Award Show last night that Boardwalk Empire didn't win any. They were nominated, though, for one or two, I think. Steve Buscemi made a presentation of one emmy to somebody.

Best movie Steve Buscemi ever did was Trees Lounge. If you haven't seen it before, this is a must-see. It was early in his career.

Forgot all about this series. I believe it is still available on DVD from the local library.

Gangsters still might rule AC.

I'm pretty sure there was at least a 20 year stretch from the 70's -90's maybe longer, where every single Mayor went to jail.

Nice pun.
