Mine seem to come pretty late every year. They always show up, but I gotta hear about other people getting theirs first. :(

There is no justice.:angry:

got to love them guys at atlas for dooles, got mine friday i must have got the bottom of the barrel , its a good thing because i got so many nuts in it. marry christmas to all ,darrin

I was thinking I didn't spend enough this year and I went upstairs to my wifes office and there it was. I thought marriage was 50-50. Not when it comes to "DOODLES".

Guys, is it just me or did they use mixed nuts in the doodles this year? I dont remember it having almonds and cashews in it the past few years.

There is no name brand as far as I know. The way I understand it there is a candy company in Chicago that makes a special batch exclusively for Atlas every year for Christmas. They don't make it any other time of the year and don't sell to others. I read this one time.

I just got my doodles for the first time. Came home and they were on the porch. It does say they are made once a year by a candy maker in Chicago just for Atlas. I thought I was out of the loop but I was wrong.

P.S. They are delicious.

Can't say I made the list either. I don't believe it was from under 1,000.00 worth of purchases for the year. In 14 years of being a customer, what does a guy have to do?

Just for you guys merry christmas

here is the recipie for the famous doodles;
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup light corn syrup
put ingredients in a pand heat untill it boils stir in 1 tsp baking soda. Pour over 1 bag puffed corn (found in the chip aisle at the store) and chopped nuts. stir together spread on cookie sheet and bake in oven at 250 degrees for 40-50 min stirring every 10 min. Cool, eat and repeat untill in a sugar coma lol.
Happy doodle making,
Chris Kurzweil
