Usually I'm not a big fan of butterfly cues but this one loooks really nice if it didn't have the big cat logo in the middle of it.

But God almighty, I could buy a used Subaru for that price.

If I had a unlimited supply of extra cash I'd order one of those cues "IF " the cat logo were to go away !

But I'll be satisfied to bring my old predator Sneaky Pete out of retirement just to listen to them cuss because I still am playing pool ha ha

And they haven't offered to sponsor me so the heck with them !

With money to burn I would send it to a cue maker, get a wrap channel cut, and have a smooth black leather wrap put on it.

I could not buy, or even use, it. The Cat, as do other logos, signatures, etc., becomes more and more intrusive and distracting every day. Bad juju for me. I like the fact that the identity of a maker is readily available, but Scruggs, et al., solved this problem long ago in a very fine fashion. I too considered immediate modification as a potential remedy. However, why should I have to cure such blatant self promotion? Sadly, this like so much of modern life, will get worse before it has even a chance of getting better.

I am compelled to note that signatures can be applied in a manner which I find wholly acceptable. I have a Russ Espiritu cue signed and dated deep between the points and in small script which blends with the grain that I have to search to find it. It's as though Mr. Espiritu and I share inside secret while Predator chooses to run down roads it owns, while screaming, "look at me, look at me". This comparison speaks volumes and sufficiently informs me of my preference.

Thanks for the opportunity to post in this thread.
I’m gonna start from far.
We continue developing the Shuriken Tribe project. The project where you can own a particular model and get money from every sell of it.
Today this sell has happened for the Tulip 5p long Venom. Below I will share some calculations and conclusions. You all are welcome to the discussion.

Long story short: there is a model owned by a person. To became the owner a person has to post the model on their socials with a @shurikencues tag or #shurikentribe hashtag. Thats it, posting claims you as the owner who gets 10% from every sell of this model. Your balance is shown on the listing on shurikencues.com

We had to add value for the Tribe models, so the cost has been adjusted. Still the owner has a privilege which is a special price for buying the model beside 10% from every sell.

Here is this model: Tulip 5p long plaited made in Venom colour palette

Now we may add a bottom set of splices to this Tulip 5p long which appear to be a new model:

The model is unique, it has no owner yet. Here in this thread you see it for the first time.
Order the blank, post it to your socials with @shurikencues tag to claim yourself as an owner.
$700 is the cost of a butt blank + delivery. $70 from every sell is yours.
Double splice = double cost. Blanks with 1 set of splices go by twice lower price.
Proper finishing may add more value to the model.
I encourage you to dig into fullsplice designs, get involved, become an owner, promote your models and benefit from it.

So here is a Tulip 3p specular long top short bottom in a black/green/yellow/red colour palette. It looks similar to the model from the starting post.

Colour pallete is more advanced form of ownership.
You can own this palette which no one else will be able to order it in any splices geometry.

And the number of variations of unique models created using the same splices geometry and the same colour palette is close to infinite. A suggest to consider it as the next level of branding for fullsplice pool cues.

Same ownership principle may be applied to splices geometry. Only you can own it and no one else will be able to order it in any colour palette.

I’m seeking here for a Person or a Company to cooperate and create some good story profitable for everyone.
