You should have received my payment at around 2:30pm pacific time. I'm assuming that we're going to wait until Tuesday since we haven't heard anything.

My understanding about e-check was exactly how Fast n Loose explained it. That is why I didn't want to pay with one. Even though I wouldn't cancel it, the money doesn't clear for 3-5 days, which may not even clear by Tuesday. You should just chill out and let the person running it make the decisions.

As you can see by my posts I was chill, and I resigned my spot, but just out of curiosity is your statement accurate.....you paid @ 230 pm this afternoon?
 
Sorry for the late update folks. I got tied up tonight with my other job and couldn't get back to a computer till now for that I'm sorry.

If snowmon wants to relinquish his spot I will gladly refund him and guycrunch will take his spot.

Other than that we are on for Tuesday the 17th.

Snowmon please let me know what your decision is so that I may inform GUY.

I'm not involved in this raffle but I know that e-checks take several days to clear.

Didnt the raffle just fill today? Should a person be given at least one day to pay?

I am going to have some raffles up starting this weekend and am just trying to figure out what the majority feel is right.

When I am in the raffle I just want to see a post of when it will be drawn by the operator. I have done them in the past and its hard to tell when payments are going to come and clear. Waiting a couple of days knowing what draw to look for doesnt bother me. If fact I enjoy that much more than loggin on to see that the draw has occurred.

I am pretty sure that since I had the number on Friday and am doomed now, but that is okay, I personally thought we should should have waited until all places were paid for before moving forward.

Not to beat the dead horse...but the person Matt was waiting on for payment had 8 spots. Is there anyone in their right mind that would go ahead and run a raffle before 8 spots were filled? This is not a knock on Aball or his credability, just a fact. I'm pretty darn sure Snowmon would not let one of his raffles fly with 8 unpaid spots.

I was not going to comment, and wanted this dead horse to die, but since you wanted to use me as an example I thought I better comment... if you read post # 61 Aball states he paid on Friday the day of the raffle @ approx 2:30 pm his time which left plenty of time to update the raffle list....Jamie lets let this die..:wink:
 
I think we're all good. I do have this excuse to add Just to defend myself.

As some of you know I work two jobs. After I went to my first job (automotive related) 8-5 pm . I went to my second (police) 5-12pm.

I had an arrest that took up all of my time and didn't get to log back in until after the drawing went off about 2AM if my memory serves me correctly.

Snowmon had contacted me by PM to let me know how he felt about me holding the raffle spots of those that remained unpaid . I felt that I owed a 24 hr courtesy from the time the last spot had been filled. Simply a difference of opinion, but since it is my raffle I will run it how I see fit.

Close to almost all paid is not paid IMO. Close only counts in hand grenades and horse shoes:grin:

Snowmon and I are all good as far as I'm concerned and Guy was wanting to get in on the raffle so it worked out for everyone.

As far as I'm concerned everybody got what they wanted.

Sorry Dale, but you were out of line in this thread and I did not read it until this morning...I'm entitled to post my opinion.

Use you as an example??? You have got to be kidding...you were the one whining...

Matt did not see Aball's post about sending payment until he got home from work eary Sat AM, so how in the world was he supposed to let the auction go with 8 unpaid spots. You're "I'm talking by ball and going home" attitude in this thread was uncalled for...JMO...
