Double trash or treasure

A couple of the curiosities I’ve picked-up along the way… Trash or treasure?

The stitches at the joint resemble a Joss West. The ivory ferrule makes it treasure. Possibly A Joss. The butt looks to be a different cue as it lacks the stitches. It could be treasure also. The sharp points look good and if the butt piece is ivory it's treasure as well.
 
Based on the stitched ring, my first thought would be that's an old Runde Schon shaft. But that's a pretty common ring setup and I'm no expert on the different pilots and whatnot. Regardless, it looks like a good one.
 
The points have the feeling of the old Rambo cues of the 60's.
If it's not playable it would look great in a glass case on the wall in a pool room.
 
I could be wrong, but after 40 yrs of being around cues, every Schon shaft I've seen has the black joint material extended down to the brass nipple so no wood could be seen below black ring. And the fact no name stamp. But they probably had exceptions.
 
As for the butt, first guess would be a late 60's Rambow but would love to have more pics of the butt cap. I've never seen a Rambow with that style cap before.

The joint superficially looks like a WWII joint but seems too long.

The personalization on the forearm looks like neither Rambow's writing nor Kimmel's

What makes it a treasure isn’t really who made it… The question is did it belong to the legendary Luther “Wimpy“ Lassiter?

Yes, the hardware is wrong for Schon. The ring is also wider than on an r-series shaft.

yeah the odds of that are pretty much the same as winning the lottery.

And it's not like he was the only person with that nickname.
