Doug Patrick

I would like to say something about Doug Patrick that i have never posted before. Awhile back when i was asking opinions on which low price production cue to buy he priced a few out for me from the place that he has his shop at and came back with some very good prices. Now i was in the $200 or so range so i'm sure profit was not his motivation.
I would up buying it a local billiards dealer because i wanted to see and hit with what i was going to buy.
So he went out of his way to help someone he has never met in person and that lives hundreds of miles away.
Doug Patrick is a stand up guy and he makes some sharp looking cues.
As a side note i offered to send him an old Dufferan free at my expence if he could convert it into something and make a buck or two. He said it was not suitable for that purpose. He could have just had me send it and sell it for $50 or so but he did the right thing.

I've always liked Doug and his cues. Never heard a bad thing about either. Of course the last situation got ugly, but atleast Doug was upfront about it. He stood up and admitted mistake with the situation then made it right.

I've asked him about cues and other stuff in PM's and he's answered them all. He doesnt act "Holier than thou" or anything like that.

Yea Doug is a nice guy and a good cuemaker, repairman, I dont know him personally but he answered questions for me before and never acted rude in anyway, like some others on here, that do act (HOLIER THAN THOU) , All I can think of is they are just jealous. There is alot of jealousy going on in here !!

Mr. Doug Patrick

I'm one of his VERY satisfied customers . . . and I would buy a dozen more cues from him if I had the money. He's great to deal with, builds an incredible cue and I've recommended him to lots of people. I can't wait to get another one in my collection!

Many of you probably saw the threads last month with a sale he made that got a little sideways . . . Doug made it right with his customer, but the BS that was spread in here was unwarranted. If most people treated others like Doug has, this world (and sometimes this forum) would be a lot better place.
