Doughnut or Banana?

I broke the code. If I’m stuck for a shot I doughnut know what to play. Otherwise I peel
one off the bunch.

A new book is being written about Doughnut and Banana tables.
It's titled "A Game Of Controlled Digestion"

These are just "art"...novelty...not pool tables really.

And to be honest, looking at the fit and finish...he isn't such a great craftsman. He makes his money off the novelty of the item, not superior craftsmanship.

Look at the hard edge around the ends of the rails in this picture. That should have been eased with a radius IMHO. As it is it is just an unfinished hard edge.

.

Look at the rail sag by the two yellow balls.

There was a L shaped table similar to the one you have pictures up in Greensburg PA back in the 90s. My buddy and me used to go there once in a while. The only difference other than maybe size was that there was one more pocket. It was on the inside corner of the L. It was fun to play on since it was different. And the corner pocked on the inside of the L was kind of cool. Especially if you hit a shot off the tip of the pocket in from a tough angle since the tips of the pocket stuck out. So my answer to the question would be banana table.

Something about that Triangle table in post #12 kind of appealed to me for some reason. Other that that you can take the rest of them to the garbage dump. The banana and doughnut tables look like they belong in a Ben Stiller movie. :groucho:

Ben Stiller and Will Ferrell in a Pool Movie!
Either opponents or Road Partners.
One could be the player and the other the backer.
or
Do it as one person is a has been, washed up, drinking Player and the other is a lucky, gifted beginner.

Tough 1P table...I'd lose track of my corner.

This could be the thread winner....for what it's Wirth.

Before you say that, I'd like to make an appeal:

There is also the forthcoming book, Widening Waist-Pocket.

In the Forward, which is generously penned by none other than Kid Delicious, the Kid writes:

"WW-P is destined to become an instant classic. You do-nut want to miss it."
