I just recieved a Downey cue I ordered at the first of the year (well Dec).

WOW, this cue is great, looks very, very, very good, I will post pictures tomorrow

I had this same cue built by 2 other cue makers and neither looked 1/2 as good. The wood he used is very nice and his ring work is the best I have seen (I will take close ups).

Oh and it plays so very well, I bought this cue for my wife. I shoot with a Dishaw with a 314-2 and Downey shock shafts plays almost as good:thumbup:, very impressed.
The cue came in 2 months late:boring2: but that is very good for a cue maker, Troy stayed in touch the whole time so there was know wandering when it was coming.

If you are thinking of ordering a cue, my Downey experence was great and the cue shots so well! :)

I've never had a Downey cue but I did have Troy make me a shaft for my Joss many, many years ago and it was the best hitting shaft I've ever had.

awesome figured cocobolo....and the whole cue is just simply gorgeous...how do i order one...

I played with juda's new cue and it plays great!! Downey has impressed me with this cue, i will keep them in mind for a future cue.

The finish and overall cue was tops, cue is the nuts.
