That's a lot of cue right there for the price. Downey's are great players. Somebody will be glad the got this one.

That's a real good look'n one there Tommie!! - what's the blue in the ringwork? -

Jackson;)

Jackie, I believe it is Veneer material. That is what most cuemakers use.

That is what it is, for sure...beautiful cue.

Are you sure that it is stained maple? It must be stained quilted maple. It looks almost like either sapele wood or figured bubinga. It is awesome for sure, and that is a killer price. You can't buy a decent sneaky for that money.

I looked through the Mueller catalog and that cue with that particular ringwork showed to be stained BEM, but the color really doesn't match. I think it might be highly figured Bubinga and they just switched the ringwork around. That makes it a little more valuble, and a lot better looking.Just look on page 14 of the 2009 Mueller catalog.

Damn, Tommie....I wish I would have remembered you had this one. I would like to have seen it the other day. Like I really need another cue, but my interest was still there! Maybe Jim can bring it out for a peek. By the way, the case is GREAT!!!!!!
For anyone that does not know, if you want something, Tommie can get it for you at damn good $$$$.
Thanks for everything Tommie! "You can take that to the BANK"!
