Dress code in tournaments

I’ll bitch and moan about covering my tattoos with dumbass sleeves. But China open dress code looks smart, it’s comfortable and professional. Dark polo shirt, dark trousers and all black dress shoes. Done a bit of a U-turn on my thoughts about it.
Why a dark polo shirt though..?Any color will do so the field of player don't look like an army out of north korea...

They dressed like that at every tour event, the Sands, Bicycle club etc. when pool was successful, is my point.
Tour/Texas Open....I think the two are different.
If you don't that's our difference.
I've played and finished in the cash in Reno many times.

I prefer wearing dark clothes when playing pool.

Dark colors don't show chalk marks and pool room dirt as much light-colored clothing.

I can understand that and it was made understood that there was a choice of colors.

I for example never give it a thought on what I'm wearing, I got a pretty good washing machine ;-)

I prefer to walk around with my clothes not looking like they need to be washed. :)

If a dress code would make it easier to make a living you'd most likely feel differently and if someone paid you enough to adhere to a dress code you most likely would if you liked the job.

FWIW, I had to wear the monkey suit for years. The pay was great, but the job mostly sucked.

I said ''if you like the job'' ;)

Here's what you said, "If a dress code would make it easier to make a living you'd most likely feel differently and if someone paid you enough to adhere to a dress code you most likely would if you liked the job."

My point is that I hated wearing the monkey suit, AND I did not like the job. But I still would have hated the monkey suit even if I had liked the job. After I got out of marketing and back into the systems QA test lab, I was able to go to casual dress, with the bonus that I now liked the new job position.

My only point is that your assumption does not/did not apply to me. That's all.
