Does anyone have a link to a picture of one?
The ProAm series of Diamond tables can't be converted to drop pockets, sorry, but with the ball return system designed in it...why would you ever want drop pockets?barker said:From the Diamond web site, it looks like the Pro-Am is ball return only. I wish there was a drop pocket version. Would this require a lot of re-engineering on the Pro-Am (legs, frame, rails, etc), or would a drop pocket version be easy to create?
1. Drop pockets are much easier on my back.realkingcobra said:...why would you ever want drop pockets?

I know, but buying a 5k table and then stuffing rags in the pockets seems a little ridiculous - and the ball return box is still hanging down there. Better (for me) is to buy something closer to what I want to begin with. I've gotten surprisingly consistent advice, and I'm pretty well settled on a Diamond Pro. I like how they play and I like how they look.poolcuemaster said:Why can't you just stick a piece of soft foam in the ball return at each pocket thats big enough not to slide down the tube, unless the pocket won't hold many balls. It would be easy to try one pocket to see how many balls it will hold.

Only ERO's said:Exactly. I have a Diamond Pro and wish I had a ball return on it. It is a pain with drop pocket when there is only one person playing. For me that is most of the time and it seems that I am walking around the table grabbing the balls out of the pockets more than playing. Be fortunate for the ball returns.
