No disrespect to Kevin West or JAM, in fact I value your opinions and always enjoy your posts, but Kevin is hardly the pride of Delaware.
I agree that especially because of his recent and untimely passing, Sang Lee should and probably will get the votes.
As far as the service award, well it's about time they put Pat Flemming on the ballot. The man worked tirelessly for years with his Accu-Stats videos, and I am happy for him that all of the hard work is finally paying off. Pat may single handedly be responsible for the surge of better than average pool players in the last ten years. What in pre accustats days may have taken a player weeks, months or years to learn, they may now be able to learn in 120 minutes by watching the top players on video. Good luck to Pat, it may be difficult for him to get around all of the politics in the voting, but he deserves the award.
Allen Hopkins, whether he deserves it or not, imho will never even get on the ballot. There is too much bad blood between him and the BCA and the politics of the whole matter will most likely keep him off the ballot forever.
Love him or hate him, Earl's day will come, and I am sure that he will eventually make the HOF. If Robin ever makes it, well, what can I say, could it happen to a nicer woman?

I guess everybody is entitled to an opinion, Accdealer. I've lived in the D.C. area all my life, and I've visited Delaware on many occasions in my past pool life. The Delaware Dog used to be the top gun in the area.
Today, Kevin West is a highly respected player in Delaware, a gentleman with integrity, and he is straight-shooter. He also works full time on his family's chicken farm and doesn't play pool full time. He suffers from juvenile diabetes and has difficulties competing in venues at times, but never complains.
He may not be "the pride of Delaware," but he's the best player they've got currently! And he thinks the world of Earl Strickland. That was my only point!
