Lee can you explain the main uses in cue building for this machine. Also could this be used to say thin peices of leather.
Thanks,
Powerpool

after you cut your parts for inlays you turn over the piece of inlay material and send through the sander til the parts fal out then just glue in as far as leather i dont no you might very well be able too i dont have this sander i have a 10 inch pro form max 600.00 vs 199.00 i was trying to suggest a more affordable model

If anyone is interested in my Jet/Performax 10/20, I think I'd rather have this one just for the smaller footprint. It's less than 6 months old and I'll sell it for $425 delivered.

With my Performax 10/20 I can sand pieces as small as 4" in length.
With a push stick I can go smaller because of the belt feed drive.
I notice this one does not use a belt to move the stock.
I wonder if you can feed a 4" piece thru it.

Also I don't see the way the thickness is adjusted.
A well controlled adjustment is very desirable.

I think I will keep my 10/20 drum sander as I am very happy with it.
