dufferin conversion with butterflies for bishops wife

i talked ryan into trying out one of these lyptus shafts
he doesn't mind being a guinea pig LOL
this is first cue i've done that has the simple butterfly laminations on it
more to come in the future

Intriguing! I have a Lyptus shaft for my break cue and it has a real nice stiff feel to it. Wonder how it plays as a playing shaft!

Lyptus

I know lyptus is a great breaking shaft....I bet though, for someone that likes a stiffer shaft....they would love it as a playing shaft!

It will be a player thats for sure. I use the purple heart shaft Brent made me for a break cue and the stiff cannon like feel went over real well with quite a few people even as an everyday player. So when Brent suggested the Lyptus I was intrigued with a similar stiff feel and hit. Plus conversions are always fun.

I hope it hits like a rocket launcher.
