I can buy a hand full of Duffs one piece with the red leaf, some are nice grain, red wood in color, and some look like some kind of rosewood.
How can you tell if they are good duffs for sneakys?

Thanks Rick.

Guess it just depends if you want the ones made in China or the ones made in Canada?

Rick, first look at the cues points check to see if they are even, if they are or near even they may be what you want. Then measure 30 inches from the bottom of the cue and measure the diameter with dial calipers at 30 inches if they are .850 thousands + they can most likely be converted if they are straight. Good Luck

It takes a special Dufferin to make a nice sneaky. Most are uneven points and/or points filled with putty. You need the one in a hundred that has perfect points and thick enough plus straight. You'd be better off finding some old Valley house cues. They are much better for conversions. Points are cleaner & longer & usually pretty even.

Thanks all. I have seen duffs with the green leaf to. What dose that mean?
The points are OK and they are way over sized they look like new, no wood filler at the bottom of the points.
I have some valleys that are 20 years old i am saving to convert.

Thanks Rvan.
