the cue here and listed on his site is cue you will receive.

19.7 area weight. He did not give me the separate weights.

3/8 – 16 x 2 inch weight set screw so it can be changed

Bob told me this is really one special hitting cue.

bobs remarks for construction pics

Finally have something to show after roughing things in & letting them stabilize before assembly.

I'm attaching 4 pics to show you how the full length core will work. The first pic shows the forearm area turned down for a stepped core. The components - a trim ring, the birdseye forearm, another trim ring and the threaded cueball joint collar - are laid out to show where they go. The 2nd pic shows the joint end with the forearm installed & awaiting the final trim ring & joint collar. The 3rd pic shows the whole assembly. And the 4th simply shows the whole butt assembly so far. When this is glued together, I will machine the rear section in the same way except the buttcap will be threaded on that end.

As you can see, the heavier cocobolo will contribute nicely to the weight while keeping it centered for a nice balance. The wrap will cover it completely so you'll never know it's there. And don't be alarmed at the sizes of the woods. This will all be machined off & it will start looking like a real cue in no time.

Bob - Sorry to hear about your potential layoff. I just went through that too about a year ago. Keep your head high and God bless. Hell of a cue - wish I had more $ to help out...... Best, John
