Earl, Earl, Earl...

The announcers JUST said that no retropective may be taken, according to the rules. Any action must be taken by the match ref DURING the match. And the complaint was filed on the next day. So no action is likely. Earl, calm down!! You are a marked man, and you are playing another TPE player NEXT!!

I know we are going over old ground.....again

But how many more times do the "other" players in the tournament, never mind the crowd have to put up with him. Picture yourself in Chen's position and Earl won with antics like that. How would you react.??? He does this everytime !!!

That cue thing where he inverted it to a club chen?? It shocking how he can even do that in public or televised. He not only a embarressment to himself as well as his country but not exactly inspiring character to the sport at all.

What a lunatic. Only word that come to mind.!

How can this happen at every single tournament, and nobody has kicked his ass yet? I'm not saying someone should, but I think Earl deserves to get punched sometimes (as long as there is no permanent damage).

I know that

Earl is not the best of sports, but many times there is another side. Almost always during a big tournament when I am playing someone that has 'friends' there, girl friends or pool friends, they do things that irritate me, and could be taken as sharking. Other times, it is blatantly obvious, and even the best of sports can only take so much.

Many times it is a person that has a 'sandpaper' personality anyway, and there manners are greatly lacking. So, if the railbirds are being disrespectful, how much does a player have to endure? or how much can they?

Matchroom sports probably loves this boxing style type of billiards from a business standpoint
By the way, when does Earl play next??????????????????????????
I don't want to miss that.

I think it's coming closer and closer to that, with Nick Vandenberg earlier this year telling Earl to look him in the eye, and now with these two issues at the WPC.

I hope it happens soon, maybe that ass kicking is what it will take to put him out of pool for good. It is unfortunate that an asshole like him shoots at such a high caliber and is forced to represent our (Americans) country.

It disgraceful how anyone like that can continually do this time and time again. 2 instances of him with his conduct in this tournament alone and it not even the k.o stages yet.

Your right he a world class player without doubt but even world class sportspeople have to abide by some rules or regulations. We all do so there is no reason why Earl should behave like this.

Check Zidane after the headbutting incident in the world Cup (soccer to the west). Undoubtedly one of the worlds greatest footballers in history and now his whole career's achievements is remembered and overshadow by that one incident where he lost control and paid the consequences.

Assuming Earl makes through to the next round, can you imagine if he faces Efren Reyes or another top Filipino player and misbehaves again? He could be lynched by Efren's fans and could be in danger!!! hahaha Anyway, he promises to behave from now on but that is easier said than done.

He has acted like that playing Efern. He has no respect for anyone but me,myself, and I. Johnnyt

I do not think Efren will be affected at all. He is used to Strickland already. He will just play his game and scratch his head and give us that toothless grin. It is the fans I am worried about especially IF they happen to match-up and Efren loses with Strickland not on his best behavior.

I think that's an overstatement. The media wants us to believe that. His whole career's achievements? Come on, quit buying into all the media crap.

It's more crap ESPN wants us to believe, like it's the most dramatic event since Kennedy was shot or something.

WHAT ? Shot ? Unbelievable ! I really liked him and just can't believe that someone has gone and shot Tommy Kennedy....
Doug
( I'm SO depressed, I'm almost speechless...... but, as Tommy would say, "This flea walks into a bar and the bartender said............. )

Some one posted a few post back that Earl did his typical crazy behavior while playing Efren..is there any proof, Earl has a great deal of respect for Efren..although as i type i kinda shake my head recalling the accusation that Earl said something about the Philipine players about taking away there jump cues and kick shots..not tastefull at all. However i really would like to know what his friends think like Johhny Archer who has everyone respect..but in truth if they are his "friends" they wont say anything bad about him

I'm not sure what IPT event it was. I saw it on TV a few weeks ago. Earl talked while Reyes shot and at the end of the match that Reyes won Earl says "You were lucky as hell" Not congrats. Johnnyt

THATS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is not even CLOSE to Earl being on tilt. I thought you meant he really behaved badly with Efren. I have MOST of their Accu-Stats matches, and it appears that Earl ALWAYS behaved when playing Efren

Hey, that me in the picture behind strickland.

Everyone watching the game was laughing at him through out the match.

He complains about almost everthing.
Here are the list;

1. Facquet about to move on a shot when Earl is about to make(Facquet sitting in front of the shot), when he did not. After that Earl warn him not to and telling him that he never miss that shot, but he did.

2. Earl says that there should be a curtain in front of Facquet so that he would distract him.

3. Earl complains the pocket too tight.

4. Earl complains that the enviroment is the worse he played in.

5. Earl telling the spectators sitting on his left hand side that he did make any mistakes and his opponent did.

6. Earl complains about spectators clapping their hands.

7. Earl complains about spectators clapping their hand too soft...:D
