Earl is a disgrace!

Ranting about Earl will accomplish zero, as it is his, aka "Earl's" persona aka personality, I do not see him changing, as weather he is a good guy, or bad guy it has zero effect on his income.

Also if you ask most people in Pool Rooms Pool Bars, or Sport Bars playing Pool to name the people who made up this years Mosconi Cup team, they for the most part don't know what a Mosconi cup is or who was on the team with Earl.

Until Professional Pool Players are held to the same standard of conduct, dress, grooming, etc., as say a Pro Golfer on the PGA Tour nothing will change.

But as we all know Pro Pool Players make no where the money a Pro golfer makes, with prize money, endorsement money, licensing fees from using their name on lines of clothing etc. Like say Tiger Woods gets from NIKE.

However, if Tiger acted the way Earl just did, do you think Nike would stick around? Do you think the endorsements and clothing lines would be there if "the best players" in the game behaved the way Earl just did? I sure don't think so.

I'd say earl acts like tiger woods. Tiger swears, throws clubs, yells at fans, but i guess people don't watch tiger at all. You guys carry on with your opinion that pool should be a bunch of elitist gentleman with no personality, surely that will get more people to tune in. Someday the streams might break a thousand viewers because of how much are guys act like gentle men.

Everybody should wear suits to play pool and maybe when they are done playing they can all sit on each others sticks.

Exactly my thoughts !..In fact, people who continue to make excuses for him, make me want to throw up !..The remark directed at his team mates, was the last straw for me, as it should have been for them !.. If he is what is needed to fill the seats, they deserve to be empty !

Earl is the worst offender of course this year but Rodney constantly dropping F bombs personally tilted me. How many times did the commentators apologize for language from Rodney and Dennis? How many times did they have to do it for the Euro's?

One of the oldest lines in sports is "Act like you have been there before."

Everyone but Shane and Johnny have shown their ass repeatedly this week.

I don't know anyone that likes losing, but acting like a child is really not called for. Sharking and childish antics, especially in a venue of this nature, are completely out of line. This venue is not at the local hall, with a bunch of railbirds watching. I think he is extremely talented, but I personally think his antics have over showed his talent for quite some time now.
I still love watching hime play, but once he starts the side show, I just move to the next table and watch another match.
