Over the years we have obviously heard or seen Earl act out and wonder what the heck was he thinking. hes gotten a big rep for that and I wanted to make sure he also got attention for being a great sportsman when he deserves it.

We had Earl attend our Alpena Month of Pool event with other Team CSI members, Corey Deuel and Charlie Bryant. in a Northern Michigan community where people like to hoot and holler and goof around, I thought oh boy, this could be bad however, it was just the opposite!!

When Earl came up to do his part of the CSI show, he was not only entertaining but very polite but he was also interacting and connecting with the crowd of over 200. These folks listened to every word and watched every moment, they were awe struck! the show Earl put on was amazing to say the least! Not only did all of these fellas do the show, they also stayed and played on 8 ball teams as did Johnny Archer!

Who wouldve thought that earl could make it through a 14 hour day of amateur bar table 8 ball playing almost non stop? I wasnt so sure but his team rallied around him and he showed them team spirit and support that was truly amazing!

earl was more amazing than i had heard or seen in years..............I'm not sure whats changed but I have to say, I was totally and thoroughly impressed!!

This isnt to say the other gentlemen werent great they were however, no one expected it from Earl.

Earl is the most electrifying tournament player I ever saw. In the '80s, Earl was unstoppable. Whatever you think of his personality/demeanor is up to you---but if you had the chance to see the real Earl take command of the table you would understand.

Congrat's to Earl!

It would be GREAT if he could return to similar form of prior years. In fact, I'm gonna do this until he does:

But I dunno, this game can drive people batty, and sometimes he reminds me of my good buddy Tiddles. ;) ;) ;)

Exactly my thoughts. I've never seen any pool player make the game look as easy as Earl, he really is amazing. The only comparison I can think of is Ronnie O'Sullivan, he is to snooker what Earl is to pool.

Earl has played at a level that only a few can ever even hope to touch.

Earl/Efern

ahh, remember the classic live telecast that the pro tour did in the 90's, vinage Earl when he focused. It was the match of matches, except someone forgot to tell Earl and he just played like he was practicing, poor Efern just watched like us veiwers at home. If my memeory serves me right I think it ended up 9-1 and I think Efern won the first game. Anybody want to add to this or correct me please do.

I'm going with 9-2. The way Earl broke in that tournament has only been
surpassed by SVB,and not by very much.He was so accurate on the crush
whitey was bouncing back towards his tip.

by the way you asked for corrections.....
the name is EFREN
I misspelled a great golfer's name on a former post,got heckled...and
rightfully so.....EFREN is everybody's hero

And video clips are coming shortly! The video editing software made a mess with my computer so its being worked on. The chief is emailing me the pics he has Mark and then I can at least post those. I have a few from the 8 ball tourney ill post and others once received. It was a great event!!

Earl's high gear is 7. When his head is right all ANYONE see's is taillights. His high gear (alla COM middle frames) is scary high. I think that's what torments him so when he plays like everyone else.

Earl has the highest gear I've ever seen. At his best he plays as perfectly as Buddy did in the 1970's only Earl makes it look even easier than Buddy did. Earl plays on the big table the way other players play on a bar table.

My fingers are crossed! I hope earl can't get rid of all that negativity and enjoy the game again. He deserves to.
