PS..I used to watch 14.1 when I was younger..But at my age now, my heart just can't stand the thrill and excitement!..

Like others, I'm sure when we all see it on replay, it will be obvious what happened at what the ruling is. From the screenshot, there was no 2-ball on to even consider calling it.
Is it possible he said 10-ball, and Jayson misheard it as 2-ball?
Is there anyone who saw it that says it wasn't obvious that he was shooting the 10-ball?
Did he make a gesture to the 10-ball just prior to shooting the 10-ball (which answers and clarifies all)?
Are there people on this board that don't understand the "obvious shot, no need to call the ball" rules for pocket billiard games?

Just how I saw it.
There were about a dozen of us watching with no sound, we all saw Earl lining up the ten ball and designate the shot. We were all stunned as controversy ensued. Until a call was made to NY nobody could figure out what the incident was about.
From what I understand from someone there telling me. Earl called the 2. Then looked and realized it wouldn't go. So he moved to a obvious 10 ball shot but didn't call it. Even though it was obvious.
Let's be real Earl is a poor sport I've seen him lose many times not even shake man's hand. I've seen him yell at entire crowd for not cheering for him in middle of match. But in this situation I think earl was correct and I was highly suprised by Jayson poor sportsmanship. I wonder if he was playing anybody else but earl would he have called that foul.

I readily admit that may be an accurate observation, as far as general pool skills go!..But for common sense, matching up, and maneuvering skills during any given game, I can easily give him the 5 out!..
PS..Also, he is the undisputed king of tasteless and confrontational ranting every time he plays!..Myself,
or no one else even comes close!..If you can't see that, you need a lot more than an optometrist!
