Earl Strickland/John Schmidt altercation at BCA

rep points are stupid...

caring about what people on the internet think of you is a mental disability...

guys with six packs make me mad...

self imposed breaks are childish...

minorities can't be racist (Jam is native, I think) :) ...

people who cry racism are perpetuating it...

flame wars on the internet are fun to read...

banning people for flaming is weak...

fueling flame threads is a must...

Earl is a jack ass but damn, he can sure play...

90% accurate! hehe :D

So in the words of someone who really was ....

A victim of RACISM! ... "Can we all just get along?"..... and in my words lets talk pool! and PM or email the "personal " crap?

:)

First off

you guys crying racist are way off base. There is a big difference between being a NATIONALIST, and being a racist. I believe Jenny advocates Nationalism, and not racism. Any US player of ANY RACE can play in the tournaments that Jenny is suggesting, including Filapinos that have become a US citizen. (and probably even illegal Mexican players ... LOL)

Many countries have limiting competition involving only their countries players or a select few countries. I see nothing wrong with having 2-4 tournaments a year limited to only US players.

Agreed. I think JAM complains equally about all foreigners of any race.

Call it racism, nationalism or any other "-ism"... it's ignorance.

Nationalism (Pride in one's own nation) is fine. But it's something different to paint ALL foreign players with the same brush and call them "Buckingham Guards" and "emotionless robots". And naturally, ignore the fact that there are also plenty of boring American players (not to mention some very exciting foreign players). It's so obvious, it's absurd.

If you read all the threads, you'll see multiple occasions of people asking her for more specifics and she refuses to be specific. She doesn't want to discuss which players are in fact boring or not. To her, they're either American or they are boring.

It's easy for her to lob grenades like "All foreigners are boring" and then try to hide behind the "Hey, I'm just being a proud American!" guise. But it's childish and most people can see through that highly transparent fascade.

May I assume that all of you have posted all your comments on the Strickland - Schmidt BCA bloody brawl?:D

It was such a powderpuff compared to this main event, a cage match freeforall now in the 34th round:D

Oh yay, there's more.

Joey: nice of you to be so chivalrous in your defense of her, but at best all you're saying is "ok, even if she's childish, you're just as bad". Or maybe you have the JAM blinders on and don't see anything childish about the name calling and negative reps and giant red caps.

JAM: lol, ironic you want to use "unidentified" against me. I asked you who you were in PM and you refused to answer.

Do I need to be famous to participate in discussions? Oh shit, that means the AZbilliards membership must be pared down to about thirteen people :(

Maybe you just wanted my name and address so you can mail me a bag of poo or pay someone to set my house on fire. I don't possibly see what use "identification" will be to you otherwise.

Maybe you feel speed on the pool table is what qualifies someone to talk? I've heard of TheOne and I haven't heard of you, does he automatically win the debate?

lol, she posts in giant red caps and talks nonstop about all the approval and reps and phone calls she gets, but I'm the guy fishing for attention.

It does appear that way.JoeyA :D

"You forgot to mention the imported tainted toothpaste killing Americans and the poisoned food products murdering their beloved pets."
I did mention that to the Chinese here as well as the fact that their FDA director is going to be executed because of it.

"An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth, I look forward to seeing you on this American tournament trail up front and close, so that I can express to you in person, and not on this moderated forum, my thoughts."
Isn't it sharking to go off at a player in an event? So does that set a precedent for players wives trying to win games for them?

my last words......

I recognise Jam to be a great pool journalist, albeit an emotiomal being, patriotic and supportive of her country and I don't believe she is racist in any way. She just has her point of view on styles of play.

I do think 'foreigners' playing pool in the USA should have a working visa cause thats their job.
And personally, the American pocket would be richer if it was only America but their skill llevel wouldn't be as high without that 'other' influence.

What makes America the greatest country is its sense of ethics and ability to embrace others.
Maybe, at times that backfires.

So this thread was theOne/ Jam altercation? Funny, how art imitates life.

All she's done, is knowing you can't throw throw baby out with bathwater, is to look at why the bath water is dirty and thats intelligent.
