It's very tough to fade the tight equipment for a long time. New cloth just makes it harder, imo. The balls skid too much. Earl should still be the favorite, though. The tables at CJ's were triple shimmed too.
 
Earl executed some good outs and is down two. As I was typing this earl asked if he moved his bead and bj and a few others said yes. Then he said who the f... Said that and I looked up and he was staring at me with his death stare! Muttered some other obsenities and kept ataring at me. Im putting myself at risk for you guys! Earl down by two.

Dude, thanks for keeping the updates flowing. You're definitely a trooper.

Also, I just called in to my partner. It's 3:20ish and Earl is up by 1 here in the 2nd set. At one point BJ was up 4. It may never end.
 
Man, I just woke up, tried to read back a few pages of this thread and then a few more pages, but I couldn't find out how Earl and B.J. were playing.

Also, who won the first set?

Inquiring minds when they rise and shine wanna know! :p

Jam BJ won set one after a few hours.

He also got ahead 4 in set two a few hours back but Earl brought it back to even...set two has been within a game or two of even since.Still going I presume.
 
How are they playing? What is the spot that BJ is getting from Earl?

Jam, BJ won the first set. Lotta back and forth but Earl was never on the plus side.

Second set Earl went up two or three and last I can see BJ is holding steady at 3-4 up.

Earl is being Earl and everything is getting to him. BJ is getting the call 7 and the last 2 i think.

Apparently BJ told Earl to quit whining and take the "ass-whoopin' like a man" upon which a few of us thought that BJ should then give up the spot and win like a man.

But Earl being Earl is tough to fade so BJ can be forgiven for his comment. World Champ or not Earl should learn to be more congenial on the table.

BJ is getting the 7 out. Winner breaks, Rack your own. I went to bed after first set....there was a lot of misses and very few runouts in it. Johnnyt
