Earl Strickland v/s BJ Ussery This Sunday (8/19/2007)

Drater I am driving up from Fayetteville with a few a friends most likely. Hope this is still going off.

Any AZ'ers that are there make sure you introduce yourselves. Not sure how I'm supposed to know who is an AZ'er and who is not.
 
I am heading out as soon as I log off!! Hoping that this may become a "new" way of promoting pool. Maybe they can call it the Road Warriors Tour and do specific matchups for all day events...

earl is from greensboro and bj works in greensboro and lives in high point(10 minutes away)

The match is supposed to start @ 8:00pm. We've got quite a crowd already and are waiting on Earl and BJ to arrive.

So, they're both local and they're going to play 'at least' TWO, 10 'ahead' sets and they are going to START at 8:00 p.m. ?

That was exactly my thought when I first read about it.
 
Well, It's 6 pm here in Florida so if I'm not mistaken it's 7 pm there right? Is either of them at the room yet? Dimes who are you? I might give you some even up action..... I have not played in 5 months either..

I'm sorry Doug but I gotta do it... You insist on trying to correct me when I post something. I'm in Fort Walton Beach, Florida... They are an hour ahead of me. Check the link below "smart guy".... hehehe.... I was pretty sure I was right when I posted it above even though I added a question mark. I was in Charlotte for a while as well as Cornelius.

Well, I thought everybody lived in Tampa or Miami. I would call Fort Walton the 'dangling chad' of Florida and in this case YOU would be RIGHT about the time and I would be wir.., wunl, wong, wrung... ah hell, you know what I'm trying say......

It's about 8:00pm now and both Earl and BJ are here. BJ has already warmed up and Earl is hittin' some balls around right now.

Attached is a pic of Earl digging through his collection of sticks w/ BJ on looking. Things should get started pretty shortly. We're basically standing room only around the pool tables. >100 players and onlookers.

I'll keep folks updated as the matches progress.
