I posted this in the Earl!!!! thread but wanted to make sure others saw this. First couple racks and the last couple racks filmed with my camcorder from the dvd I have.

The energy from Earl and the crowd is very unique here and you get to see something very special.

Billy I and Grady commentating. Enjoy.

I challenge anyone to show me any player under 40 who plays with that seemingly effortless stroke and pace. Honestly. Earl just get up and fires them in without agonizing over it. He doesn't measure, doesn't take a hundred years to bunt a ball, doesn't take 20 years to shoot a straight in shot. He just confidently ATTACKS the rack and gets pissed if the balls don't completely obey him.

If anyone were to do a mashup video comparing Earl's style with 100 other players I doubt highly that you will find any that are really close. Do 100 runouts where the player has to run out a medium difficulty rack and see how they get there. I am betting Earl's way is the most confident and exciting out of all of them.

I love watching him and Efren play though. Earl has so much firepower it's amazing to watch. This contrasted with Efren's ungodly finesse produces the most amazing matches in my opinion.

Thanks for posting this great match. I love to watch Earl play. He's like a well programmed maching. Did I hear the announcer correctly saying that there was no love lost between Earl and Efren? I always thought that there was a lot of respect between them.

Hes always fun to watch on accustats, especially when hes in high gear like here. Some of those old SRO matches where he puts 5s and 6s on people are just unbelievable. There is one match where grady mentions how many times in the tournament strickland ran a huge package on his opponents. It looks so easy too when he does it. Those down the rail shots where he just fires them in and goes one or two rails towards the center of the table look effortless for Earl.

No one shoots as beautifully as Earl when he is in dead stroke, imo. Just a pleasure to watch.

One question though, how did he ever make a ball with such a short cue?!?!?:p

That's quite a head of hair that Earl had there, and no headphones, shooting glasses, or arm weights!

Thanks for posting this, but if this is an Accu-Stats video, this is probably not leagal, and they would not appreciate it... but please don't take it down until I have had a chance to finish watching it . . . :embarrassed2:

I'm a member of the Accustats DVD of the month club and when I posted this video I put their number in the comments to order the whole match. I posted about 4 racks as a teaser but I have a hunch this was VHS only and probably not available but at least people can call and order something. I would take it down in a second if Pat messaged my YouTube account.

John, the only guy I can think of that comes semi-close would be Rodney. But he's definitely not Earl, there just isn't a player that's like him.

Edit: Nevermind, the Rocket just turned 41
