Earl vs. Shane

Even though SVB is flying! Id be putting my money on Earl if i hadnt given up gambling.

Reasons why i think this, Is because Im sure Earl being earl is using that fact of being the underdog to fire himself up even more than he would usually!! I also think he's got a point to prove and a statement to make after his troubles in recent times and i think thats probably the main reason he has taken the match up. Plus a pretty fired up Earl will take some serious stopping! What ever happens im sure its gonna be interesting. Best of Luck to the both of them!

Plus Earl will be very confident just coming off another US Open win.

k I'm a big fan of EARL, I'll bet here!!! all my vcash on earl, OK? 100% he will win this one!

seeing shane beat corey 100-70 and if corey and earl were to play corey would be the favorite...

if anyone is interested i will take earl and 25 games for a couple hundred

thats an interesting proposition, lemme think about it.

Aren't they both going to be in Manila for the WPC, on the other side of the globe, just couple of days earlier??

That's the problem with this match. It is just too much to expect these guys to fly back and play this match three days later. The jet lag coming this way is severe and it takes a couple of days to recover. Not to mention one full day of travel just to get back to the Midwest. The timing for this match is bad. Better to wait until December (maybe just prior to or after the Mosconi Cup in Vegas). Or until January at Derby City.

That was my initial reaction too. Whoever comes home first would have rested well and will have the advantage. ;)

Note to self: For this distance travelled, jet lag kicks in 36 to 48 hrs later no matter how you timed yourself and even with the help of melatonin.
