Earl will be the next Fats

Actually you are right. Wimpy was a fantastic player who didn't run his mouth......he just ran those balls. He wasn't nearly as surly as even Mosconi. Earl on the other hand just won everything he could put himself into just like Lassiter, but without the antics. I suppose I would put Lassiter closer to SVB and Earl closer to Mosconi and Irving Crane.

Not likely. The fans loved Fats! He had them eating out of his hand. He was as different from Earl as night and day. In fact I would say Earl is exactly the opposite of Fats. And he will never achieve even a fraction of Fat's fame or financial success. Comparing Fats and Earl is like comparing a Mercedes to a Yugo.

Or like comparing Rodney Dangerfield to Dick Cavet, or a Ford Ranger to Toupee' Jays Truck, yeah they are both good trucks, buts Jays is a real TRUCK.
Fats stands alone.
