It's painfull just seeing all that garbage on his left arm , the guy is truly a head case
I wonder if he has ever seen a sports shrink if he hasn't he should

During the match, Earl turned to Scott the Shot and said he needs a big weighted helmet to wear so it keeps his head down.
That just might be the next step.

Two golden breaks in a 10 Ball match of typical tournament length is strong. Out of curiosity did the ten ball count on the break in this event? Also be curious to know his average balls per break and how many dry breaks he had.
First, up 7-0 he got bad on the 8-ball after making the 7. He singled out some clod in the back row with a mouthful of chips. "Chips!" He exclaimed. "They should never sell chips at a pool tournament! Do you know at a golf tournament they don't give out napkins!?! Can you imagine 8,000 napkins flying around the golf course??? If you go to watch golf, you have to wipe your mouth on your sleeve!" He banked in the 8 ball and proceeded to run out.
Later on, a crowd was guffawing across the room. "Earmuffs!" He said. "I need big giant earmuffs!" With arms stretched to full length, charading enourmous muffs over his head. "No, they should give me a giant helmet. A giant helmet for my head. And inside, it would play sounds of the ocean..."
He was on fire tonight.
That's vintage Earl right there.
Thanks for the insight. It's hard telling from the stream what is being said.
I always did say, if they had earl wired for sound and sold wireless headsets that just carried Earls words of wisdom, the extra income might just save pool.
Yes, they are counting 10-balls made on the break as wins in this event.
Assuming you are asking about Strickland in his win over Cheng:
- He broke 13 times: 2 fouled, 3 dry, and 8 successful (made at least one ball and did not foul)
- He made a total of 15 balls on the 13 breaks, for an average of 1.2 balls per break. He made 14 balls on the 8 successful breaks, for an average of 1.8.
.

What wisdom would that be exactly? Honest question, because I can't really think of any.
His stance looks overblown, the arm and cue can swing freely and he might be able to shift whole body forward, following his throwing cue arm.
In the end he seems to favour power on the break so that balls will explode spectacularly.
Cheers!
PS: If I'd have any say (which sadly I don't) I'd ban his arm weights and any gadgets save gloves, and have him thrown out of the tournament without any money after his 2nd warning when he even speaks a word.

Not really sure what Earl did wrong thus far. If someone was playing a banjo at a golf tournament, I'm pretty sure the pro golfer might have a few words for the "picker".
As for his equipment, who cares really ?? If I can win one, just won, US Open I'd wear a pink tutu while sporting dreadlocks, while singing "Somewhere over the Rainbow", off key of course.
