Earl's version of what happened at SBE.

Wow, all of a sudden Vagabond's friend is a douchebag ?

He was purposely racking improperly, got called on it rightfully, and his friend is saying
At that time I wanted to jump into the arena to tackle keith but I controlled myself.
Yeah, there is a problem with that. Keith was not in the wrong here, the guy was admittedly racking improperly and someone actually has to control themselves from physical violence on the person who is making sure the balls are racked correctly after a guy has continued to attempt the same trick after already being called on it?

Using a cheat rack is one thing, people thinking about getting physically violent when they get caught doing it is the thing that bugged me about that post.

Sure you do, as long as your appreciation for a good shot or great match is consistent. Too many people on here are bashing the TD. Volumes can be written about Earl's antics, and this TD's behavior has nothing to do with Earl being barred. He (Earl) had it coming.

Whether he deserved it in this instance is moot, because he certainly had it coming. At some point someone was going to bar him, and we can nit-pick the reasons and the TD, or the other players all we want, but the fact of the matter remains Earl is more trouble than not, and Earl's fans keep looking the other way because is a champion.

Sad.

Exactly how I feel I am a fan of Strickland's talent but I just watched the 2003 US Open 9 Ball match against Bustamante where Incardona and Wych were in disbelief at Earls antics while he was getting beaten badly by Jengo..he said "Earl has given up and is simply mailing it in and throwing his cue at balls..this is very unprofessional" this is after Janet Shimmel of Cuetec tried to get him out of the antics and ridiculous childish attitude simply because Francisco was breaking and getting a look at the 2 ball after consistently sinking the 1 in the side. It was an 11-4 Beatdown and Earl was lucky to get the four..easily looked like an 11-2 but Francisco missed 2 easy shots in separate racks where he had easy run outs.

It was literally like watching a 12 year old boy playing in a tournament..I was surprised Earl didnt burst out crying..he did everything else possible to act unprofessionally..Although none of this or his behavior in playing and getting tossed from SBE by the TD will ever be as bad as his treatment of the fans..yelling at them when they stick around for an autograph or picture..it takes a special amount of inner slime to be an animal like that to the pool community and the fans that support you..makes me sick.
