Silver Member
Cleaned and refinished by Kersenbrock himself thru Ed Young.
Woods are African Mahogany and Birdseye points.
Butt weight is 18.55 oz.
Shafts 1&2 are 4.15 oz. each. Both ferrules are micarta, 1 is original and 2 was replaced by David. Both shafts are 12.75 in diameter.
As you can see in the picture of the points there appears to be a small hairline mark. David said its not a split in the wood and did not want to replace the point and change the originality of the cue. Plus he states that it will in no way affect playability.
Asking $5000 obo plus shipping. If paying with Paypal add 4%
Sorry for the large pictures!

Curious what it would cost to get a cue reraped? More or less than what it cost to have it raped originally?

sorry for being honest!!!!

flufly, this is my cue, as you can read from the original post, this is not a split in the wood but I blew up the picture to be up front with everyone so that there is nothing hiding. Also stated originally, I sent this to Kersenbrock to have him personally refinish this cue and analyze the mark to see if it was split, it was an impurity in the wood when he built it and it was one of the original cues he built on his own pre SW. He would not replace that point due to keeping the originality of the cue and being that's its over 30 years old (like changing original parts and #s on an antique car) and he charged me 500.00 for the refinish, wrap and replaced 1 ferrule.

I am very confident in the 5g as being a fair price (I will entertain offers) being that I've had numerous cuemakers ie. Diviney and others like kinister look at the cue and price it for me.

ps im not going to post a pic but also had the cue x-rayed and is does NOT show a split also. I can provide this for any that is interested but in fairness to Kersenbrock I will be very cautious to who I send. I can say this, there is no weight bolt in this cue. the African Mahogany is denser than Ebony and that's why the cue is heavy but balanced. Well built cue by Dave and his like a true player.
