I found a set that is missing the 12, 15, and 6 ... they are in average condition and come with what looks like an original rack. I haven't bought them yet ... just wondering if they have value and if it is terribly hard to find the ones needed to complete the set.
Thoughts?

I would think that you could find the missing ones on eBay. I bought a brand new set off eBay a while back for $125.00
 
old centennials

Karl (and others)-

I have a couple of very old sets of centennials. In the original box. Box is in pretty good shape.

They are excess.

I have not looked at them in many years. Have had them probably 20+ years. Never used them.

If there is some interest, I will go dig them out and see what kind of condition they are in. I keep thinking they were some kind of second BUT one of the boxes has a $259.95 price tag still on it.

I believe they came from AAA Billiards in Denver - John Toteve.

late 50's

Looked at the Brunswick site and these appear to late 50's Centennials.
Any more thoughts?

The old Clay balls are worth little these days, a few years ago there was a collecting craze that brought many many thousands into the market which allowed those who were paying attaention that they are not as rare as some poeple thought.

If you are buying them for a conversation piece and you can get them cheap it is good to go, you should be able to find the balls your missing with little trouble on ebay.

The about the only ones that are rare are the Ivory balls and the ones with strange patterns.
