I have a Sad story, but I must share it because pat crossed my mind the second I heard the story. AND mind you I would of never known Pat if AZB was not around.
I live near one of the wides spans of the mississippi river. A week ago there was a car that was stuck halfway in the water in a full nose dive off a huge ledge when the police arrived to the car. They suspected no occupants. As rescue crews was on the way the car sunk further in. The car had no license plates so the first thing the cops thought when they first arrived and seen the absence of tags is that the car is stollen, rescue shows up in the boats but the commanding officer would not let his divers in the water because of the dark/windy/cold weather condition and water temperate. they called off a search&rescue operation till day light to remove the car. at the time of moring the car was fully submerged because of the nasty slope of the edge on the river bank.
When rescue crews pull the car from the water the in morning light, was the body of the driver in the car..
I bet all the money in the world if the guy in charge daughters car was the same color make and model car that was nose down in a river he would of been the first one in the water. If Pat would of been in that same postion on that rescue there's no second guess that the driver of that car would be rescued alive and well today..
Pat' thank you for your services to my fellow Americans in need in time of a disaster
