BAD LINK REMOVED. SORRY!
I think I got the link to work. I sell on Ebay regulary. I get at least 4 or 5 Emails like this a week. This one came thru the Ask seller a question. It was on my Ebay message page. I suspect Hy-jack account. Note the account is registered in Wisconsin. Guys don't get me wrong there are plenty of good guys on ebay. But you do need to be careful on both ends.

Hey guys maybe the link works different for everyone. It is meant show an ebay ask seller a question to me. It was a guy from Japan trying to tell me he wanted to buy cues to send to customers in Asia. Sorry guys I think the link is to anyone who is sign in and clicks own page. I don't know. Sorry please disregard this post. EXCEPT FOR THE PART ABOUT BEING CAREFUL ON EITHER END!!

Here was the question:
Question Action Received on

1. Thank you for the info on your ebay pages for the cue. Please provide me with the shipping and BUY IT now information (shipping cost through postal services and estimated arrival date) the destination Country is JAPAN) I am looking forward to present this cue and for my ASIAN CUSTOMER,they're have difficultly to find this model In case you were interested, I found your store through E-bay and choose to buy direct rather that wait for the bid process. Your cue description and visual presentation of your products were very enticing. i strongly prefered paypal and-or US bank check as payment methodes, you can ship when my payment cleared I am excited and looking forward to purchase your cue stick

As a general rule, whenever someone asks you to bypass an auction and ship to a foreign country, look out.

There are a thousand variations on this sort of scam, which seem to have originated in Nigeria.

Invariably, the check will be a fraud. They can forge some pretty authentic looking documents and checks. Often, they will send a check for too much money and site a mistake or other explanation....and then ask you to pay them back the difference!

You'll be out of your property and cash if you deal with them.

Don't shake hands with the devil!

If I were seriously to consider any deal like this, especially foreign, I'd use an escrow such as Proficient Billiards offering. Period.
