Ebay deal of the day....

I have had different people evaluate it to put a value on it from what some experts have told me the cue used in its condition is worth around 900 dollars.

M5-2C Barretta Madrid. From the Jennifer Barretta line of discontinued pool cues? List price. $229.00 Good try tho.

We had one of those BSers in our pool league. He asked me what my Predator was worth. I told him $900. He says, "I bought my Predator from a guy who won it in a raffle and its worth $1500. I asked him how he knew that. Cause thats what the guy told me it was worth.

Makes perfect sense.

We should start a bidding war on it. I'll bid $10,000 right now. Someone else bid $9999, i dont mind taking an unpaid item strike for it. Lets have a little fun.....done

You wouldn't. Use a Period instead of a comma.

All you have to say is that you put the period in the wrong spot and it was supposed to be a 100 dollar offer. Sorry, my mistake.

I posted it correctly. I bid $10,000 on it. I got the dreaded ebay message "your max bid is higher than the buy it now price" but it took the bid anyways. I will be glad to win such a rare and iconic cue thats valued so high:rotflmao1:

Auction ended....

I was just trying to help the seller letting them know that someone lied to them and the cue was only worth around $100.

This is the reply I got----------->

That's cute thanks for your pointless message. First of all I confirmed it with McDermott
and yes it is a one of a kind that was won in a big pool tournament in Tulsa Oklahoma.
The winner received 25k plus this pool cue. So anyways thanks for your useless message have a good day.

That's too funny. He got caught. I noticed he only has 3 ebay transactions. Oh, and love the username, "playboyz32" lol, omg.

He removed the listing. I was more than ready to pay the $10,000 i had bid on that iconic piece of historic art. So somebody won $25k and that cue, thats like winning $100k in my book:rotflmao1:

I sent him a message as well. Didn't get a scathing one back like you did.
He either ended it or the auction was over. Either way, it ended with zero bids.

Perhaps someone Red Flagged him with EBay. After all, he was misrepresenting the
actual product or estimated price just a tad with the description in his listing.
